How Permuto.me handles information when you use this website.

Last updated: 19 October 2026

Who operates this site

This website is operated as Permuto.me by Addressly, Westerstraat 10 UNIT C1808, 3016DH Rotterdam, the Netherlands (KvK 99089068). See the about and contact page.

Information processed when you use file tools

When you use a file tool, we process the files you choose and the settings or other information you submit to perform the requested operation. Files can contain personal information, so upload only material you are entitled to process.

Some longer-running tools temporarily place uploads in private storage on the service server while a job is processed. Input files are removed after processing. A private download link for a result expires after 10 minutes by default. Expired files are removed by a cleanup task; deletion may be delayed if that task is not running.

We do not use file contents to train AI models or automatically translate your files. Some tools extract or transform content only to produce the result you requested.

Vehicle lookups

If you use a vehicle lookup, the service sends the VIN you enter to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vPIC service, or the Dutch registration number you enter to RDW Open Data, to retrieve the requested vehicle information. Those providers receive the lookup value and connection information from our server and handle it under their own policies. Other file tools do not send uploaded files to those lookup services.

Server and security information

Like most websites, the hosting server may record technical request information such as IP address, requested path, browser user-agent, response status and time. These records help operate, secure and troubleshoot the service. Their retention depends on the server’s log-rotation and hosting configuration.

Public visitors do not need an account to use the tools. The site uses security cookies where needed for form protection and site operation. Language is selected by the URL and is not chosen from a language-preference cookie.

Advertising and third-party services

Permuto.me uses Google AdSense advertising code. Google and its advertising partners may receive information such as your IP address, browser or device identifiers, the page you visit, and interactions with ads. They may use cookies, local storage, web beacons or similar technologies to deliver, measure or personalize advertising based on visits to this site or other sites. This can happen when the advertising code loads even if no ad is visible. Google explains how it uses data on partner sites. You can review or change Google ad personalization in Google Ads Settings; you can also visit the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page.

The site loads web fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those fonts, Google receives the request and associated technical connection information. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google requires publishers serving personalized ads to use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. When a consent message is provided, use its controls to make your advertising choices. You can also manage Google ad personalization through Google Ads Settings.

Optional usage events

First-party tool event logging is disabled by default. If the site operator enables it, and the site’s consent interface records your consent, the service may log a fixed event type (tool started, succeeded, failed, or download clicked) and the tool name. Those events do not include file contents, filenames, extracted text, download tokens or arbitrary form data.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can choose not to use a tool or provide a file. You can manage Google advertising personalization through Google Ads Settings and your browser’s cookie controls. Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or limits on the use of personal information.
