Merge audio files into a single MP3

Combine multiple audio clips into one, in order.

To merge audio files, select two or more clips, upload them together and download one combined MP3. The clips are joined end to end in the order you selected them, with no crossfade or silence added between them. You can mix formats, since each clip may be MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, AAC or M4A, and each file can be up to 50 MiB. The merged result is always re-encoded as an MP3 named merged.mp3.

How to merge audio clips

Click the file picker and choose at least two clips. The form says they are merged in the order selected, so pick them first to last. If you choose only one file the form asks for at least two. Submit, wait for processing and download merged.mp3. Play the result before you delete the originals to check the order.

What happens at the joins

Clips are concatenated and re-encoded to MP3 as one continuous stream. The tool does not add crossfades, fade-outs or pauses, and it does not match volume between clips. If one clip is quieter than the others, run it through the Audio Normalizer before merging so the loudness is consistent.

Mixed formats and quality

You can combine files of different types, but the output is lossy MP3 regardless of the inputs, so merging WAV or FLAC clips loses some detail. Clips recorded with different sample rates or channel layouts may not join cleanly, so the safest approach is to merge clips that came from the same source or app.

Limits and next steps

Every file must be 50 MiB or smaller, a job can include at most 20 files and 200 MiB in total, and ffmpeg is cancelled after three minutes of processing, so very long sets may fail. Split the job into smaller groups if that happens. Trim unwanted sections first with Trim Audio, and shrink the final file with the Audio Compressor if needed.

Frequently asked questions

How do I combine two MP3 files into one?

Choose both MP3 files in the picker, keeping the order you want, submit the form and download merged.mp3. You need at least two files. The clips are joined end to end with nothing added between them.

In what order are the audio files merged?

In the order you selected them. If the result is in the wrong order, run the tool again and pick the files one by one in the sequence you want them to play.

Can I merge different audio formats?

Yes. Each clip can be MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, AAC or M4A. The merged file is always an MP3. Clips with very different sample rates or channel layouts may not join cleanly, so check the result.

Does the tool add a fade or crossfade between clips?

No. Clips are joined directly with no crossfade, fade or silence. If you need smoother transitions, add them in an editor, or leave quiet space at the end of each clip before merging.

How many files can I merge at once?

You need at least two and can upload up to 20 in one job, with 200 MiB in total. Each file must be 50 MiB or smaller, and processing is cancelled after three minutes, so large sets may need merging in smaller groups.
