Reorder and delete PDF pages

Reorder, keep or drop specific pages from a PDF.

e.g. 3,1,2 — leave a page out to delete it

To reorder PDF pages, upload the file and type the pages you want to keep in the order you want them, for example 3,1,2. Any page you leave out is deleted from the new file, so the same field both rearranges and removes. You can instead tick a box to reverse the entire page order. The result downloads as a new PDF named after the original with -reordered added.

How to set a new page order

Enter page numbers separated by commas. Ranges work too, so 1,5-8,2 gives page 1, then pages 5 to 8, then page 2. The output follows your list exactly and is not sorted. Numbers start at 1 and must exist in the file, otherwise the tool shows an error that names the entry it could not use.

How to delete pages

There is no separate delete button. List every page you want to keep and omit the ones you do not. To drop page 4 from a 6-page file, enter 1-3,5-6. Check the page count of the original first, because anything you do not list is gone from the output. Your uploaded file stays untouched, so you can try again.

Reversing the page order

Scans of double-sided stacks or files fed in backwards often come out last page first. Tick the reverse option and the tool flips the whole document without any typing. When reverse is ticked, the page list is ignored. If you leave both the list and the reverse box empty, the form asks for one of them.

Limits and good habits

The upload limit is 25 MiB and encrypted PDFs are rejected. Pages are copied, not re-drawn, so content stays sharp. If the aim is to cut a file into several parts rather than one reordered file, Split PDF is the better fit. To turn pages sideways after reordering, use Rotate PDF.

Frequently asked questions

How do I delete a page from a PDF?

Type every page number you want to keep and leave out the one to remove. For a 5-page PDF where page 3 goes, enter 1-2,4-5. The new file contains only the pages you listed, in that order.

How do I rearrange pages in a PDF?

Enter the page numbers in the order you want them, such as 2,1,3 to move page 2 in front of page 1. The new PDF follows your list exactly. All pages you want to keep must be in the list.

Can I reverse the order of a PDF?

Yes. Tick the option to reverse the whole page order and submit. The last page becomes first and so on. You do not need to type a page list, and any list you did enter is ignored.

Can I move multiple pages at once?

Yes, by writing them as a range in the new position. To bring pages 7-9 to the front of a 10-page file, enter 7-9,1-6,10. You describe the full new order in one go.

Does deleting pages change the original file?

No. The tool builds a new PDF from the pages you list and offers it as a download. Your original upload is unchanged on your device, so keep it until you have checked the result.
